Safety is Essential!

The glass studio at Jubili Beads & Yarns® was constructed following fire safety, plumbing, and many of the ISGB safety guidelines.  In addition, we have the equipment checked and serviced for safety and efficiency several times a year.  Although a relatively safe hobby if you respect the flame, in reality, working on a torch is still "playing with fire".  This can be a thrilling, awesome too, if you are careful, conscientious, and abide by the house safety and cleanliness rules.  We rely on instructors and other students to let us know who is safe in the studio, and who is not, although sometimes this is very obviousto us when we stop in and check on the session!  We want flame working to be a fun, but more importantly, SAFE endeavor for glass students, staff, and other customers.  We therefore reserve the right to refuse torch use or terminate studio &/or class privileges for anyone deemed a danger or threat to themselves, other glass students, or the staff, customers, and property of Jubili.
