Jubili Scarf Kit

Our Products: Kits > Mixed Media > Jubili Scarf Kit

Little did I know as I sat crocheting this scarf that it would one day cause such a stir! It was seen by Jean Campbell, beader par excellence and the super nice former editor of Beadwork Magazine, when I displayed it at Lapidary Journal’s Bead Fest in 2003. Her initial reaction was similar to all who see it…she loved it, and invited me to have it published! The Beadwork Magazine readers loved it, and never a day goes by in our retail store without someone yelling “WOW! This scarf is beautiful!" They always stop to touch and admire it, and ask how it’s made.

So if you’re not shy about having your scarf oogled by total strangers, buy the kit to make your own
Jubili Scarf! Delight your friends and family with kits…they make wonderful gifts for the special needle workers in your life!

Depending upon your needs, the scarf is available in two kits (details below). Each kit is offered in either a 'Crocheted' or a 'Knitted' version, with the corresponding pattern included. The original scarf was crocheted in Trendsetter Yarns’ Charming, the Purple/Olive color way, color #P1001. Eight other color ways are now available, and can be seen below. The two kits differ in that KIT 1 includes the yarn, beads, and all needle work supplies; whereas KIT 2 offers the yarns and beads only. You would probably spend two to three times the cost of the kit if you bought the finished scarf in a store! We do have back issues of the Oct/Nov. 2004 issue in which the scarf appeared, but those are sold separately.

Sewing thread for the fringe on the end is not included, since you can use any matching color of beading thread you have on hand. Same for the assorted beads for the fringe, for which you can use a mixed handful of left-over beads from your own stash.
